Beta terms
This is a beta
LowEndInsight is being tested in the open. It may be unavailable, it may return wrong answers, and features may change or disappear. Do not use it as the only input to a decision that matters.
Analysis is free during beta
Nothing is charged today. Accounts are limited to 200 analyses a month, which is what keeps the beta affordable for us. Prices are published at /llms.txt so that when beta ends nothing about the change is a surprise. We will tell account holders before charging begins.
No warranty, and use is at your own risk
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. That includes, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
Any use of this service, and any reliance on its output, is entirely at your own risk. The reports are automated measurements of public repository metadata. They may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. They are not a security audit, not a licence review, not legal or professional advice, and not a statement that any dependency is safe to use.
You are responsible for deciding what to do with the output and for verifying anything you act on. To the fullest extent permitted by law we accept no liability for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or otherwise — arising from use of the service, from inability to use it, or from decisions made on the basis of what it reports.
What we store
- Public repository data. We clone repositories you ask about, compute metrics, and keep the resulting report in a shared cache for 30 days. Reports are shared: if you and someone else ask about the same commit, you get the same cached answer.
- Your account. An organisation record, hashed API keys, and a count of analyses used per billing period.
- We do not store repository contents. A clone is deleted once its metrics are computed. What persists is the report: counts, dates, contributor names as they appear in public commit metadata, and risk ratings.
- Private repositories are not supported. Do not point this at one. There is no path for supplying credentials, and a private repository will simply fail to clone.
Ending it
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end the beta, or an individual account, at any time. If we end the beta we will keep the cached public reports, which contain nothing of yours.
Changes
These terms will change as the service leaves beta. The version in force is whatever this page says; it is generated from the running deployment rather than pasted, so it cannot describe a mode the service is not in.
